have you given my suggestion for the party any thought?"
Spock inclined his head. "Yes, Captain Kirk, I have considered it."
"And?"
"And I have decided I must decline."
"Why, Spock, why?"
"Several reasons, Captain. All of them-"
"Logical, yes, Spock. Which reasons?"
"I do not believe it is an appropriate activity for the ship's First
Officer."
"Would I ever ask you to do something inappropriate?"
Spock regarded his Captain coolly. "I also do not believe that Santa Claus
had pointed ears."
"Vulcans have no imagination."
